Journées universitaires TYPO3 2026

In 2026, five Thuringian universities will join forces for the first time to jointly organise the TYPO3 University Days. The format creates a structured, practical exchange between universities, agencies, and the TYPO3 community.

The focus is on current developments relating to TYPO3, including further development with version v14 as well as issues of long-term maintainability, extension strategies, and system architecture. The aim is to develop viable solutions for the specific requirements of universities: established structures, different stakeholders, and complex client landscapes.

Concrete challenges from everyday university life will also be discussed: from relaunch projects and multi-client installations to accessibility, governance, and editorial workflows.

The event is aimed at editors, web managers, technical decision-makers, and agencies who are responsible for TYPO3 in the university environment or are strategically developing it further and are looking for an exchange on an equal footing.
