Since 1998, the Free Software Days (JdLL) have been the annual gathering for those curious about and passionate about free and liberated digital technology. Originating from a day organised by Linux users at Lyon 1 University, they now comprise a whole series of activities for all audiences, eager to quench their thirst for discovery and sharing. At the end of 2023, ALDIL officially launched the event and created its own association.
Organised with the support of ENS and AliENS, in partnership with ALDIL, Colibre, Illyse, LOV, NetFreaks, and volunteers from diverse backgrounds, the JdLL is a meeting place for key players in the free software world: associations and companies involved in Free and Open Culture, free software and GNU/Linux open systems communities, and free software workshops/laboratories.
